John Cena kicks off WrestleMania Sunday
John Cena, the host of WrestleMania, heads to the ring. Cena says we had an incredible Night One (there is no reaction for that), and we’re going to have a historic Night Two. It’s also the first time we’re live on ESPN (that got boos). Cena says that means we have to kick off with something big. Cena welcomes everyone to WrestleMania, and fireworks go off.
Before the match begins, Paul Heyman takes the microphone from Alicia Taylor and introduces Brock Lesnar, calling him the Ruler of WrestleMania.
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman

The bell rings, and this highly anticipated match begins. They lock up, and neither man budges. They push each other off. They lock up again, and Lesnar pushes him back a bit before Femi pushes him back. Lesnar quickly lifts him and drives him into the corner, connecting with some shoulder thrusts. Femi stands up tall and throws Lesnar off, shocking the Beast Incarnate. Lesnar goes for a clothesline, but Femi stays standing! Lesnar tries again for the same result. Femi then clotheslines Lesnar down, and he angrily rolls out of the ring. Paul Heyman is stunned. Lesnar kicks the ring steps and lifts them, but he thinks better of it and tosses them aside.
Femi grabs Lesnar by the hair from the ring, but Lesnar snaps him off the middle rope. Lesnar pulls Femi out of the ring and drives him into the ring post. Lesnar sends him back into the ring post before whipping him into the steel steps. Lesnar gets Femi in the ring and connects with a German Suplex. Lesnar grabs him for a second German Suplex. Lesnar taunts the crowd as they loudly boo. Lesnar knees him in the face and hits a third German Suplex. Lesnar stands in the center of the ring and poses. Lesnar grabs him for a fourth German Suplex, but Femi rocks him with an elbow. Femi hits some running uppercuts, but Lesnar soon lifts him and hits an F5! Lesnar celebrates, but Femi gets to his feet and hits a massive Chokeslam! Femi sizes Lesnar up and hits the Fall From Grace! 1… 2… 3!
Winner by Pinfall: Oba Femi
Oba Femi celebrates big time. It takes a while for Brock Lesnar to start to stir in the ring. Paul Heyman is absolutely stunned. Michael Cole declares that Oba Femi is the Next Big Thing.
After Oba Femi goes to the back, Brock Lesnar sits up in the ring and looks up to the ceiling. Lesnar takes off his gloves and his boots. Lesnar is crying as he does this. A “Thank you, Brock” chant lightly picks up. Lesnar leaves his gloves and boots in the middle of the ring and poses for the crowd. Paul Heyman gets in the ring, and they embrace. Heyman, who was Lesnar’s first manager when he debuted as a rookie in 2002, finishes by Lesnar’s side at the end of his career. Heyman holds Lesnar’s arm up, and the crowd gives him a great ovation.
Lesnar puts his arms up and bows to the crowd. Lesnar poses on the turnbuckle, and a “Thank you, Brock” chant picks up. Lesnar drops down, kisses the mat, and leaves the ring for the final time. Lesnar, with tears in his eyes, high-fives some fans as he heads up the ramp. A “Thank you, Lesnar” chant fires up. Heyman is in tears as Lesnar thanks him. Brock Lesnar walks by the “Brock Lesnar Guy” as he heads up the ramp. Lesnar turns to the crowd one last time before heading to the back. The career of Brock Lesnar is over.

JD McDonagh goes after Dragon Lee. Penta hits Rusev with a springboard crossbody, knocking him out of the ring. Lee and Penta double-team McDonagh before Mysterio joins in. They all hit McDonagh with dropkicks. It’s down to the three luchadors. They send the WWE Hall of Famer into the ropes, but Rusev pulls Mysterio out of the ring and sends him into the steps. Penta and Lee dropkick a ladder into Rusev before going for stereo suicide dives, but Rusev smashes them with a ladder. Rusev creates a ladder bridge from the commentary table to the apron. Penta knocks Rusev off the apron. McDonagh hits Penta with a ladder. Evans then wipes out McDonagh with a WILD dive.
Evans gets a ladder in the ring, but Lee hits him with a hurricanrana, flipping Evans off the apron into McDonagh. Lee and Mysterio grab the ladder before tossing it aside and brawling. Lee kicks Mysterio back and hits the ropes, but Mysterio follows him in. Mysterio goes for a hurricanrana, but Lee counters with a Styles Clash attempt. Mysterio counters with a hurricanrana and goes for a 619, but Lee moves and hits a superkick. Rusev quickly drives a ladder into Lee and gets in the ring. Rusev hits Evans, Penta, and Mysterio with the ladder. McDonagh attacks Rusev from behind and strikes away at him. Rusev then hits McDonagh with a back body drop onto the ladder. Rusev sets up the ladder and climbs, but Penta cuts him off and hits a bulldog off the ladder! Evans wants to climb, but Penta knocks him down. Penta goes for a headstand springboard dropkick, but McDonagh shoves him over the top rope. McDonagh climbs the ladder and reaches for the title. Rusev pushes the ladder over, sending Evans out of the ring onto Penta! McDonagh manages to land on his feet and knocks Rusev out of the ring. Lee quickly knocks McDonagh off the ladder and sends him out of the ring. Mysterio sandwiches Lee in the ladder and hits a 619!
Mysterio sets the big ladder up, and Evans leapfrogs over him. Evans climbs, but Mysterio pulls him down. Penta attacks Evans and Mysterio. Mysterio is in the tree of woe on the ladder. Penta hits Evans with a suplex on a ladder leaning against the corner. Lee hits Mysterio with a flying double stomp as he’s in the tree of woe. Lee climbs the ladder, but Rusev pulls him down. Rusev slams Lee down and creates another ladder bridge from the middle turnbuckle to the ladder rungs. Evans attacks Rusev, but Rusev slams him onto the ladder bridge. Rusev starts to climb, but Penta pulls him down. Penta kicks Rusev, and Mysterio joins in, knocking him to the apron near the other ladder bridge. Penta attacks Mysterio, but Mysterio kicks him in the face. Mystrio charges, but Penta leapfrogs him over the top rope onto Rusev through the ladder bridge! Mysterio’s face slams into the ladder.
Mysterio gets in the ring and pulls Penta down. Penta puts Mysterio in the electric chair, but Mysterio counters with a hurricanrana into the ladder. Penta leans against the ropes, so Mysterio connects with a 619. Mysterio starts to climb, but Lee cuts him off on the other side. Lee grabs for the title, but Mysterio punches him away. Lee quickly smashes Mysterio’s face on the ladder. Mysterio snaps Lee’s arm off the top of the ladder, knocking him to the canvas. Lee grabs Mysterio’s ankle, but Mysterio kicks him back. Mysterio goes for a flying hurricanrana, but Lee counters with the Styles Clash!
Lee climbs, but McDonagh climbs behind him. Lee forearms McDonagh a few times, but McDonagh hits him with a Spanish Fly off the ladder! Wow! The crowd is really into this match. McDonagh starts to climb, but Penta climbs on the other side. They trade blows before McDonagh attempts a superplex onto the ladder bridge in the ring. Penta fights it and hits an INSANE Mexican Destroyer on the ladder bridge! WOW!
Evans starts to climb the ladder, but Rusev pulls the ladder away. Evans is hanging onto the belt, but Rusev pulls him down. Rusev throws Evans over the top rope. Rusev sets the ladder up and is limping. Rusev climbs, but Evans hits an INSANE OG Cutter from the top rope to the ladder to the canvas! Penta quickly gets in the ring and springs off the ladder into a Mexican Destroyer on Evans! Penta climbs to the top of the ladder and pulls the Intercontinental Championship down!

Replay: Oba Femi dominated Brock Lesnar and defeated him earlier tonight. After the match, Lesnar took his boots and gloves off, signaling his retirement from professional wrestling.
Michael Cole talks about being there at the beginning of Brock Lesnar’s career and thanks him. They then throw it over to the ESPN App. The ESPN coverage is over.

Lil Yachty comes out and says we’re here to witness a live spectacle and a real-time blessing. For the thousands in attendance and the millions watching at home, he presents Trick Williams. Williams comes out in his white fur coat with a ridiculously long train, spanning the entire length of the ramp.

They trade punches before Zayn takes Williams down. The crowd loudly boos as Zayn starts the ten punches. Willimas reverses a whip, but Zayn springboards over him and hits a clothesline over the top rope. Zayn sets up for a dive, but Williams gets in the ring and hits a pair of clotheslines. Zayn avoids a kick and goes for a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Williams counters with a cyclone boot, followed by a neckbreaker. Williams pulls Zayn to his feet and hits a Book End for a near fall. Williams sizes Zayn up and charges, but Zayn boots him in the face. Zayn follows up with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall.
Zayn stomps away at Williams before the referee backs him up. Zayn continues to stomp him, so the referee forces him back. Lil Yachty checks on Williams, so Zayn sneaks up from behind and attacks the rapper. Zayn grabs Yachty and throws him headfirst into the barricade. Zayn gets on the apron and drives Williams headfirst into the ring post. Zayn smashes his head into the ring post twice before hitting a brainbuster on the apron! Zayn stalls a bit and wants a countout, but Williams starts to stir. Zayn gets out of the ring and hits him with a Helluva Kick against the barricade. Zayn gets back in the ring and wants the countout. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… Williams barely beats the count. Zayn angrily stomps away at Williams. The referee holds Zayn back and checks on Williams. Zayn sizes Williams up for a Helluva Kick, but Lil Yachty snaps him off the top rope. Williams hits a Trick Kick for a near fall!
Zayn avoids a second Trick Kick and hits an exploder into the corner. Zayn backs up and charges for a Helluva Kick, but Williams intercepts him with a Trick Shot for the win!

AAA Mega Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio makes his entrance being wheeled out on a massive throne by luchadores. The so-called King of the Luchadores enters WrestleMania on his throne.
“The Demon” Finn Bálor makes his entrance by crawling toward a heart and touching it. Streamers explode all over, covering the Demon in them. The Demon grabs a stick that has a mask on it and waves it around. Mysterio looks terrified.

AAA Mega Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio vs. “The Demon” Finn Bálor

The bell rings, and the Demon starts to crawl toward Mysterio. Mysterio cautiously gets in the ring. Bálor punches away at Mysterio and clotheslines him. Bálor chops the chest and sends him into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. The Demon pops up and quickly strikes Mysterio down. The Demon then clotheslines Mysterio off the apron to the floor. Bálor smashes Mysterio’s face off the commentary table and grabs a kendo stick. Bálor hits Mysterio in the midsection with the kendo stick twice. Bálor pulls a table out from under the ring, but Mysterio wipes him out with a suicide dive. Mysterio grabs the kendo stick and hits Bálor several times with it.
Mysterio throws the Demon into the ring and flexes. Mysterio throws four chairs into the ring. Mysterio drives the edge of a chair into Bálor’s midsection and spine. Mysterio hits a slingshot senton bomb before punching away at him. Mysterio stomps away at Bálor before setting up two chairs end to end. Mysterio sets up for a suplex, but Bálor counters with a front suplex onto the two chairs! Bálor hits a Sling Blade and sets up for a shotgun dropkick, but Mysterio kicks him back. Mysterio knocks him into the ropes and hits a 619. Mysterio immediately follows up with a Frog Splash! 1… Bálor kicks out! Mysterio cannot believe he kicked out at one.
Mysterio grabs a chair, but Bálor hits him with a falling elbow drop. Bálor hits a pair of shotgun dropkicks into the corner. Mysterio avoids a Coup de Grâce and drives a chair into his head for a two-count. Mysterio goes to the ringside and slides the Slim Jim table into the ring. Mysterio leans it against the corner. Bálor fights back and goes for a whip into the table, but Mysterio blocks it. Bálor puts the brakes on and hits a Sling Blade. Mysterio counters a shotgun dropkick into the table with a superkick. Mysterio then drives him through the table! Mysterio hits him in the spine with the chair, putting him in position. Mysterio wraps the chair around the Demon’s head and hits a 619! Mysterio hits a big Frog Splash and covers. 1… 2… Bálor kicks out! Mysterio cannot believe it.
Mysterio tees off on Bálor with several chair shots to the spine. Mysterio gets out of the ring and grabs another table from under the ring. Mysterio sets up the table. The Demon comes to his feet and turns Mysterio inside out with a clothesline. The Demon smashes the chair on Mysterio’s back several times before wrapping it around his head. Bálor hits a shotgun dropkick and puts Mysterio on the table. The Demon CRUSHES him with a Coup de Grâce through the table for the win!

They lock up, and Cargill shoves Ripley into the ropes. Cargill shoves Ripley and shoulder tackles her. Cargill connects with a scoop slam and taunts the crowd. Ripley fights back with a ripcord kick to the midsection, followed by a facebuster. Cargill soon fights back and hits a powerslam. Cargill continues to take it to Ripley, sending her out of the ring and stomping her. Cargill whips her into the barricade before sitting on the barricade and posing. Cargill rolls into the ring to reset the count. Cargill bounces Ripley’s face off the apron and puts her in the ring. Cargill hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two-count.
Ripley gets up laughing and tells Cargill to bring it. Cargill takes her down and applies a crossface. Ripley fights up with Cargill on her shoulders, and Cargill elbows out. Ripley catches her with a kick to the face to stun her. Ripley takes her down and punches away at her. Cargill rolls her over and punches. They trade blows from their knees before getting to their feet. Cargill boots her back, but Ripley hits a flying kick to the face. Ripley puts Cargill in the electric chair and hits a drop for a two-count. Ripley goes for a Riptide, but Cargill counters with a hip toss. Cargill flips into the ring and hits a superkick. Cargill connects with a spinebuster for a near fall. Cargill sets up for Jaded, but Ripley counters into a roll-up for a two-count. Cargill quickly goes for a powerbomb, but Ripley hits a hurricanrana, followed by a Shining Wizard.
Michin appears on the apron, so the referee admonishes her. Ripley goes for a Razor’s Edge on Cargill, but B-Fab pulls her down. The referee didn’t see that. Cargill sidesteps Ripley, and Ripley hits the ring post with her shoulder. Michin kicks Ripley’s head into the ring post as Cargill distracts the referee. Cargill hits Ripley with the Sandstorm. 1… 2… Ripley kicks out. Cargill throws Ripley out of the ring and shouts for Michin and B-Fab to get her. The referee is watching everything. IYO SKY runs down for the save. Sky sends Michin into B-Fab. Sky hits B-Fab with a Shotei uppercut before hitting Michin with a backfist and a Shotei uppercut. Cargill goes for a big boot, but Sky hits an Asai Moonsault on B-Fab and Michin.
Ripley headbutts Cargill and goes for a Riptide. Cargill gets out of it and tries for Jaded, but Ripley drops down and avoids it. Ripley connects with the Riptide for the win!

Rhea Ripley celebrates with IYO SKY as pyrotechnics go off. This is Rhea Ripley’s 4th Women’s Championship.

Replay: Earlier tonight, it appears as if Brock Lesnar retired from professional wrestling following a defeat at the hands of Oba Femi.
John Cena announces the WrestleMania attendance
John Cena says this night has been packed with WrestleMania moments, particularly Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar. Tonight, we have 55,255. The overall weekend attendance is 106,072. The crowd gives a light response to that. Fireworks go off.
Cena says that was bittersweet, but this concludes his duties as host. Cena wants to give a heartfelt thanks. The Miz and Kit Williams interrupt him. Miz says Cena left a hole in the crowd’s heart that he has to fill. Miz says he’s the locker room leader now. Miz didn’t get a WrestleMania Moment last year, and he’s not leaving until he gets a moment at WrestleMania 42. Cena says, “Mike, good to see you.” Cena doesn’t know who Williams is. Cena backs up to let Miz have his WrestleMania moment.
Danhausen makes his entrance with little Danhausens and drives down in a coffin-shaped car. The little Danhausens get in the ring and dance in front of a confused Miz and Williams. Wade Barrett quotes Randy Newman’s song, “Short People,” by saying they have “grubby little fingers.”
Danhausen says, “Greetings, humans. I am Danhausen, very nice, very evil… and I have finally made it to WrestleMania-hausen. Speaking of which, I have got something to say… to YOU!” Danhausen points at John Cena. Cena is shocked. Danhausen says he’s a huge fan. Miz is upset and tells Danhausen not to shake Cena’s hand. Miz says this is turning into a circus. Williams shoves one of the little people. Danhausen tells another little person to get Williams. The little person punches Williams in the groin before going for a dogpile. Miz pushes them away.
Danhausen punches Miz in his meat and two veg. Danhausen does the 5 Knuckle Shuffle-hausen. Cena smiles broadly. The little people carry Miz to the back. Danhausen does the “You Can’t See Me” taunt to Cena. A puff of smoke goes off, and he clumsily runs out of the ring to “disappear.” The little people drop Miz on the way up the ramp. Cena laughs and says that was great. Retired life is awesome.
WrestleMania is unexpected, but it’s also the Grandest Stage of Them All. Next up is your Main Event!

They go face-to-face before backing up. They lock up, and Reigns backs away from him as Punk mocks him. Punk hooks a side headlock, so Reigns whips him off. Punk shoulder tackles him and gets in Reigns’ face. They shove each other before Punk hooks a side headlock. Reigns whips him off and hits him with a back elbow. Punk gets up, and they get into a shoving match. Punk slaps Reigns in the face and hooks a side headlock. Reigns whips him off, but Punk shoulder tackles him. Punk hits the ropes, but Reigns leapfrogs him and hits a Samoan Drop. Reigns strikes Punk, so Punk chops him. Reigns takes it to Punk and clotheslines him over the top rope before posing.
Reigns slings Punk into the ring post. Punk blocks a slam on the commentary table and bounces Reigns’ face off the table. Punk punches the OTC. Punk goes for a whip, but Reigns reverses it and sends him hard into the barricade. Reigns punches Punk over the English commentary table. Punk goes into the crowd as Reigns stands on the commentary table. Punk attacks him as he comes over the barricade and sends him back to the ringside area. Punk hits a diving clothesline on the floor before mocking Reigns’ point to the air. Punk then does his own taunt. Reigns is furious and slams Punk off the table to the floor. Reigns gets Punk in the ring and covers, but Punk kicks out at one.
Reigns says, “You liked that one, huh? Mock me again, bitch. This isn’t promo day.” Reigns punches away at Punk. Punk responds with some right hands and a boot. Reigns floors the World Heavyweight Champion with a big boot for a two-count. Reigns wedges Punk in the top and middle rope, striking him. Reigns puts Punk in the corner and hits some clubbing blows. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… 10. Punk is out on his feet. Reigns hits the ropes and hits a leaping clothesline. 1… 2… Punk kicks out. Punk sidesteps a Superman Punch and drives him into the turnbuckles. Punk takes Reigns down with a clothesline and heads to the top rope for a diving crossbody block. Punk punches away at Reigns and hits some jabs. Punk sends Reigns into the ropes, drops down, and pops up for a jumping heel kick. Punk connects with a high knee to the face, followed by a bulldog. Punk poses in the ring and signals for the end. Punk sizes Reigns up and lifts him for a Go to Sleep, but Reigns elbows out. Reigns then drives Punk’s shoulder into the ring post. Reigns then floors him with a Superman Punch! 1… 2… Punk kicks out.
Reigns gets to his feet and starts to shake the ropes. Reigns lets out a big yell, and Punk rocks him with a massive knee to the face. Punk hits another running high knee, followed by a short-arm clothesline. Punk follows up with a swinging neckbreaker before hitting a clothesline over the top rope. Punk hits Reigns with a suicide dive, driving Reigns’ lower back into the Spanish commentary table. Punk kneels next to Reigns and poses. Punk bounces Reigns’ face off the commentary table, followed by the ring steps. Punk lays him on the English commentary table and punches him a few times. Punk looks to the corner, but the referee begins to admonish him. Punk gets a wild look in his eye and heads to the top rope. Reigns rolls off the table and attacks Punk, pulling him down to the apron. They trade big punches and boots before Reigns puts Punk on the top rope. Punk hangs him in the tree of woe facing the ringside area. Reigns smiles and starts to punch away at him. Reigns then backs up and hits him with a Superman Punch. Reigns backs up and hits a second Superman Punch. Punk is not moving in the tree of woe. Reigns hits a third Superman Punch before getting in the ring.
Punk is bleeding from the mouth. Reigns lifts the steel steps and smashes the helpless Punk in the face! Punk is bleeding from the forehead! Punk falls to the floor. Reigns clears off the Spanish commentary table and talks trash to the bleeding Punk. Reigns grabs Punk and sends the bloodied champion through the table with a Powerbomb. Punk, who has some papers from the desk stuck to his sweaty body, is pulled up by Reigns. Reigns gets him in the ring. Reigns hits the ropes for his signature Spear, but Punk counters by lifting him up and hitting a GTS from out of nowhere! 1… 2… Reigns kicks out!
Punk gets to his feet and lifts Reigns for a GTS. Reigns slides off and hits the ropes for a big Spear! 1… 2… Punk kicks out. Reigns cannot believe it. Reigns rubs Punk’s bloodied face on the mat before slamming his face down several times. Reigns tries to get himself to relax and then says Punk is going to sleep. Punk tries to fight back, but Reigns cuts him off. Reigns lifts Punk on his shoulders and puts a finger in the air. Reigns goes for a GTS, but Punk blocks it. Punk floors him with a roundhouse kick for a near fall. Punk mocks Reigns’ Superman Punch taunt. Punk hits Reigns with a Superman Punch for a near fall. Punk punches away at Reigns and stumbles around. Punk goes outside and grabs an Ula Fala from a fan. Punk gets in the ring and goes for a Spear, but Reigns counters into a Guillotine Choke. Punk gets out and rolls him up for a near fall! Punk immediately transitions into an Anaconda Vice! Reigns manages to punch out and bend Punk off him. Reigns traps Punk in the Guillotine Choke. Punk gets out with a handstand and goes for a Sharpshooter. Reigns blocks it and punches and kicks away at him. Punk collapses into a Guillotine Choke. Punk flips into a jackknife pin for a two-count. They then collide in the center of the ring, knocking them both out.
The crowd gives them a great ovation. They talk trash to each other and trade strikes from their knees. They unload on each other before trading knees to the jaw. Punk hurts himself delivering a headbutt to Reigns. Punk takes off his wrist tape and throws it at Reigns. The referee kicks the tape out of the ring. As he does, Punk low blows Reigns! Punk hits a GTS and covers 1… 2… Reigns barely kicks out!
Punk drops several elbows on Reigns’ chest and kicks him out of the ring. Punk bounces Reigns’ face off the commentary table and lays him on it. Punk goes to the top rope and stands, looking down on Reigns. Punk gets a head of steam and hits a diving elbow drop off the top rope through Reigns and the commentary table! Reigns yells in pain. Punk slowly gets up and gets Reigns in the ring. Punk grabs Reigns and lifts him for a GTS. Punk hits it, but Reigns leans against the ropes upon impact. Reigns falls back onto Punk’s shoulders. Punk goes for a second GTS, but he collapses in exhaustion. Punk struggles to get to his feet. Reigns hits him with a Spear as he does, but he’s too exhausted and beaten up to capitalize. Punk is on his knees and wildly swings at Reigns, but he’s too far away. Reigns hits the ropes twice and hits another Spear. 1… 2… 3.
Winner by Pinfall and new World Heavyweight Champion: Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns celebrates with the World Heavyweight Championship as fireworks go off. Reigns embraces his family at ringside before getting back in the ring and posing as the show comes to an end.
