Harassment — be it sexual or mental — at the workplace is a serious problem. And this week, a shocking sexual harassment complaint has emerged in which a JPMorgan executive is being sued for her abuse of power to sexually harass and abuse a junior male employee.
The
complaint was filed on Monday (April 27) in New York County Supreme Court by the plaintiff, who has chosen to hide his identity after receiving threats.
The unidentified junior employee at the reputed banking institution has claimed that his senior, Lorna Hajdini, drugged him, subjected him to racial abuse, and even threatened his career when he refused her advances.
Inside details of allegations of abuse by JPMorgan’s Hajdini
>> In the lawsuit filed by John Doe, the abuse at the hands of Hajdini began in the spring of 2024, almost immediately after the two began working together.
>> Doe, who has been described as an Asian man, outlines the various instances of unwanted sexual advances and abuse by Hajdini. In one such instance, as reported by the Daily Mail, Hajdini dropped her pen on the floor next to his desk and, while bending to pick it up, rubbed his leg and squeezed his calf. He claims she then remarked, “Oh, you did play basketball in college? … I love basketball players… they get me so wet.”
>> From then on, the abuse progressed, alleges Doe. He states that one time, the JPMorgan executive invited him out for drinks, but he refused. She is then alleged to have said: “If you don’t fk me soon, I’m going to ruin you… never forget, I fking own you.”
>> In the lawsuit, Doe alleges that Hajdini also propositioned him for oral sex. In one such situation, she’s accused of saying, “Birthday BJ for the brown boy? My little brown boy”.
>> The man claims in his complaint that Hajdini even admitted to drugging him using date-rape drugs on numerous occasions. During one encounter, she allegedly berated him because he cried while she performed a sex act on him against his will.
>> Hajdini has also been accused of showing up at the man’s residence uninvited. But that wasn’t it; she then allegedly removed her shirt, began fondling her, and racially insulted Doe’s wife, remarking: “I bet your little Asian, fish head, wife doesn’t have these cannons,” the complaint reads.
>> Doe alleges that he claimed to try to rebuff each and every one of Hajdini’s sexual advances, but she always got her way by using her position of power. In one instance, she is accused of saying, “I fking own you! I will make you pay… Do you think you’re going to be in good standing if you do not have me in your corner. You really think [management]… want some Brown boy Indian leading originations?.. If you don’t fk my brains out tonight, I’m going to sabotage your promotion.”
>> In late 2024, he began looking for a new job, which in turn led to Hajdini and others derailing his prospects of alternate employment.
> The man’s lawyer told Daily Mail that he’s been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and continues to struggle financially because his reputation has been damaged and he has been unable to find another job.

Victim accuses JPMorgan of turning a blind eye
>> In his complaint, Doe accuses JPMorgan of enabling the abuse. He noted in his complaint that after filing a complaint with the officials at JPMorgan of Hajdini’s abuse, the firm began retaliating against him.
>> He alleges that he received anonymous threatening phone calls from individuals, attempting to scare him into silence. “Just wait ‘till you’re back in New York, Brown boy…’ said a caller, allegedly.
>> He even received threats of ICE agents being sent against him.
JPMorgan responds
>> While Hajdini has maintained silence on the matter, JPMorgan noted that they had carried out a thorough investigation based on the complaint they received. However, they found no evidence of any kind of abuse. “Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims,” a spokesman told Daily Mail.
