The United States-based Sygaldry Technologies is developing quantum-accelerated AI servers aimed at reducing the energy consumption and cost associated with training and operating large-scale AI models. The company’s approach combines multiple qubit types within a single system designed to function within existing data center infrastructure.
Sygaldry’s approach focuses on combining multiple qubit types within a single system to support AI workloads. Its technology is intended to enhance computational performance while reducing energy usage.
The investment comes amid growing demand for AI infrastructure, particularly in Asia, where expanding data center capacity is placing increasing pressure on energy resources. Industry estimates suggest significant global investment and additional power generation will be required by 2030 to support AI growth.
Earth Venture Capital said its investment aligns with its focus on supporting technologies that improve efficiency and address energy challenges associated with emerging digital infrastructure.
