India’s instant house-help segment heats up as Snabbit targets fresh funding at $400M valuation

Snabbit is in advanced discussions to raise fresh capital at a valuation of approximately $400 million, in a funding round led by Susquehanna Venture Capital, according to a report by TechCrunch.

The Bengaluru-based startup is expected to raise around $50 million in the round, with sources indicating the total could increase to approximately $55 million or higher amid strong investor demand, three people familiar with the matter informed TechCrunch.

The funding round is likely to see participation from Mirae Asset and FJ Labs, along with existing backers such as Lightspeed Venture Partners and Bertelsmann India Investments. The development represents a significant increase from the $180 million valuation at which the company raised $30 million in October 2025, with the deal potentially being announced as early as next week.

Founded in 2024, Snabbit operates a platform that connects households with on-demand domestic workers for services including cleaning, dishwashing and laundry, offering quick turnaround through a managed workforce network. Prior to the current round, the company had raised a total of $55 million in funding.

The fundraising comes amid rising investor interest in instant home services platforms in India. Rival Pronto is also finalising a funding round led by technology investor Lachy Groom at an estimated valuation of $200 million. Meanwhile, Urban Company stated that its instant home services offering surpassed one million bookings in March.

The surge in demand is being driven in part by India’s young urban workforce, which has increasingly adopted app-based, on-demand services similar to grocery delivery platforms.

Aayush Agarwal stated in a recent LinkedIn post that the company completed more than one million jobs in March alone. He had earlier informed TechCrunch that the platform recorded over 10,000 daily jobs and more than 300,000 total orders in October.

The company was working with approximately 5,000 professionals on its platform at the time, all of whom were women, he added.
