Kanguva directed by Siva is the costliest and most ambitious project in Suriya’s career. The sci-fi period drama emerged as one of the biggest debacles in Indian cinema, and ever since the film’s release, Siva has been at the receiving end of brutal trolls on social media.
It has already been revealed that Ajith Kumar agreed to do a film with Siva after Kanguva. At a recent event, the filmmaker said, “Fans keep asking me when my next film with Ajith Kumar sir is. An official announcement will be made when everything falls into place. For now, we’re keeping the genre a secret.”
It appears that Siva is likely experimenting with the genre as he chose to remain tight-lipped, and we need to see what kind of subject he comes up with. This will be Siva’s fifth movie with Ajith after Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam, and Viswasam. After heavy criticism for Kanguva, we need to see how Siva will mould the project.
