Producer Rahul Yadav Nakka of Swadharm Entertainment has officially announced his banner’s Production No. 6, titled Not A Doctor. The film stars Naveen Chandra in the lead and is written and directed by Srikanth Nagothi.
The project has instantly caught attention with its striking title poster, which features a dirt-covered hand rising from a forest floor, wrapped in roots and surrounded by dark foliage. The intriguing tagline, “Based on a novel that was never written,” adds a mysterious layer and hints at an unconventional narrative.
This film marks another collaboration between Naveen Chandra and Srikanth Nagothi after their well-received films Bhanumathi & Ramakrishna and Month of Madhu. Their previous outings were praised for their emotional and realistic storytelling, raising expectations for this new venture.
Swadharm Entertainment is known for backing strong content-driven films such as Malli Raava, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, and Masooda.
