Sometimes, it’s not just a scene or a dialogue that stays with audiences, but a song that quietly takes over. That’s exactly what happened with Fa9la, the track that played during Akshaye Khanna’s introduction in Dhurandhar. Weeks after the film’s release, the song continues to trend, and now its creator has dropped a hint that fans are paying close attention to.
Bahrain-based singer-producer Flipperachi, whose real name is Hussam Aseem, has spoken about the overwhelming response to Fa9la and whether his music could return in Dhurandhar 2.
‘My DMs are blowing up’
Speaking to India Today, Flipperachi opened up about how life has changed since Fa9la found a place in the film and among audiences.
“To be honest, it’s crazy. My DMs are blowing up every single day. I cannot keep up with the people that are just tagging me for the song and enjoying and vibing with it. So it’s been a crazy, crazy time.”
The song was used as the entry theme for Akshaye Khanna’s character Rehman Dakait and quickly became one of the film’s most talked-about elements. Its raw energy and distinct sound helped it stand out, even in a film packed with high-intensity moments.
Will Fa9la return in Dhurandhar 2?
With Dhurandhar 2 already announced, fans were quick to ask if another Flipperachi track would make it to the sequel. The singer didn’t give a clear yes, but he didn’t shut the door either.
When asked about it, he said there “might be something.”
“I was going to keep it a surprise, but I guess there’s something. I wouldn’t want to tell you everything about it, but yeah, there might be something, yes.”
The response was enough to spark fresh excitement among fans who are already closely tracking every update related to the sequel.

The sequel, Dhurandhar 2, is scheduled to release on March 19 and will hit theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Box office run continues
