Thalapathy Vijay’s farewell film, Jana Nayagan, is set to take over the big screens on January 9. The movie, directed by H. Vinoth, stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol will be seen in crucial roles. From the beginning, there have been speculations that Jana Nayagan is the official remake of Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari.
The team has neither denied nor confirmed the same. Even Bhagavanth Kesari director Anil Ravipudi was asked to respond to the remake rumors, but he also remained tight-lipped. The trailer release is scheduled for tomorrow at 6:45 PM, and with this promotional asset, fans are awaiting clarity. Will the makers choose to reveal the story in the trailer, or will they prefer to continue the suspense till the movie’s release? That remains to be seen.
Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Narain play supporting roles. Venkat K. Narayana of KVN Productions is producing this flick, while Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. Jana Nayagan will release as Jana Nayakudu and Jan Neta in Telugu and Hindi, respectively.
