Sereact, Stuttgart, robotics, EUR 110 million: The start-up from the German Southwest develops artificial intelligence for autonomous storage and production facilities. Its clients already include heavyweights BMW, Ikea and Daimler Truck. It plans on expanding to the US.
Gropyus, Richen, automated construction, EUR 100 million : This high-flyer, also from southwestern Germany, has created a fully automated robot production line to help build wooden houses. Europe’s largest property company, Vonovia, is a strategic investor.
Flink, Berlin, food delivery, USD 100 million: This commerce start-up from the German capital has achieved profitability, and its latest successful financing round takes the company’s total value to 900 million USD. Flink currently reaches more than 22.5 million customers and is active in 160 hubs in Germany and the Netherlands.
Qdrant, Berlin, deeptech, USD 50 million: This bright new up-and-comer is developing an open-source vector search engine that turns embeddings and neural network encoders into full-fledged applications. The company’s clients include Tripadvisor, HubSpot and Bosch.
Midas, Berlin, fintech, USD 50 million: This start-up offers a tokenization solution for converting ownership of real-world assets. Its mTokens platform has reportedly now minted over 1.7 billion USD in tokenized assets, paid more than 37 million USD in yield to investors and attracted more than 20,000 holders.
