Obesity, diabetes in focus at medical conference


Over 600 doctors and healthcare professionals attended a national medical conference, holding discussions on obesity and diabetes management.

A key highlight of the conference was its focused, hands-on workshops on obesity management, diabetic foot care and gynecology-endocrinology integration. The sessions were interactive and practical, offering case-based insights that were widely appreciated for their immediate clinical relevance.

Kiran Bedi, India’s first woman IPS Officer and former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, was the chief guest. She spoke about conviction on leadership, perseverance and integrity, highlighting courage and resilience as essential values in both public service and the medical profession.
