Young hero Kiran Abbavaram is venturing into production with the rural drama Thimmarajupalli TV. The movie features Sai Tej and Veda Jalandharr in the lead roles and is directed by debutant V. Muniraju. The film is up for a grand theatrical release on April 17, 2026.
Today, the makers launched the theatrical trailer, and as the title suggests, the film is centered around a television set. The story is set against the period backdrop when televisions weren’t part of every household. We used to hear stories of an entire village having just one television, with residents gathering together to watch shows or movies.
In Thimmarajupalli, the village doesn’t have a television, and ego clashes brew among the villagers as they try to prove their dominance by bringing a television to the village first. The teaser starts on a breezy note, but soon turns intense, ranging from petty to brutal fights, even if it means taking a life to have the upper hand. The performances of the newcomers look very promising, and the plotline is exciting, which is sure to pique the audience’s interest.
The film features a supporting cast including Pradeep Kotte, Swathi Karimireddy, Amma Ramesh, Satyanarayana, Lathish, and others in significant roles. Teja Velpucharla is serving as the co-producer, while Vamsikanth Rekhana is the music composer.
