The teaser of Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s upcoming romantic-drama Chand Mera Dil was unveiled by makers on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Directed by Vivek Soni, the film is set to be released in theatres on May 22.
The teaser opens with a series of scenes where Ananya and Lakshya are seen locking their lips. Then it gives a glimpse into their love story with warm visuals. Ananya is heard saying in a voiceover, “Our love story has become legendary”, to which Lakshya replies, “Legendary love stories always have a tragic ending.” A conflict is teased between the two, leading to an intense moment where Lakshya is seen screaming. The film promises to be an emotionally-charged love story.
The film is based on a story by Vivek Soni, who has also written the screenplay with Tushar Paranjape.
It marks the first collaboration between Ananya and Lakshya, who made his feature film debut with the Dharma Production backed, Kill in 2024. He was last seen in Aryan Khan’s web-series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood.
Ananya made her feature film debut with Dharma Productions in 2019’s Student of the Year 2 and recently, her web series debut with Call Me Bae (2024) was backed by Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital arm of the banner.
