Delhi-based online factory outlet marketplace For Real has raised Rs 3.2 crore in a pre-seed funding round from Titan Capital.
The proceeds will be used to build its technology platform, onboard more brands, and drive early user adoption.
Founded by Anurag Sheth and Mohit Sheth, For Real is building an online factory outlet marketplace focused on branded excess inventory. The platform is designed as a separate channel for liquidation, allowing brands to clear unsold stock without affecting pricing or visibility on their primary sales platforms.
Unlike traditional marketplaces that mix fresh and discounted inventory, For Real is building a platform designed specifically for off-price products, where stock per style is limited and discovery needs are different.
For Real is currently in the early stages of building its marketplace and plans to scale operations gradually as it expands its brand and user base.
Seed-stage venture capital firm Titan Capital has backed over 250 startups to date, including Ola, Razorpay, Urban Company, OfBusiness and Giva. Last year, It had also launched a specialised investment vertical to fund startups innovating in India’s defence and strategic technology space.
