E-commerce startups aren’t at an automatic disadvantage when they compete with giants, thanks to smart fulfillment partnerships, such as Beeping, that empower small and medium-sized brands to scale effectively. Business owners can use their services and avoid owning unwieldy, expensive infrastructure, and still offer fast shipping while competing with top players.
To be clear, Amazon-level logistics can be available to businesses that aren’t prepared for a big spend from an Amazon-sized budget. Instead, excellent infrastructure, technology, and service quality are available through strategic fulfillment partners, so size doesn’t limit the success of a smaller e-commerce business.
The evolving role of third-party fulfillment
Beeping founders David Costarrosa and Eduardo Morant launched their first e-commerce businesses in 2018 and immediately understood that a need existed to improve logistics. This was a sector many entrepreneurs in e-commerce found unappealing. With their combined strengths, they envisioned a chance to improve importing from China and shipping operations from Spain.
Their biggest challenge as they stepped into uncertain waters was establishing a fulfillment operation in China, but COVID-19 put the brakes on their efforts, thanks to shipping limitations, and left them with the reality of building what Beeping evolved into in the past half-decade.
Role of Beeping fulfillment in helping growth
The two founders are themselves entrenched in online business, and own online stores personally, so their in-house software and fulfillment services are designed by e-commerce experts to meet known needs. One unique offering, not supported by most fulfillment providers, is cash on delivery as a payment and shipping method.
Another role Beeping plays in the business world is within its own doors, for employees who drive the company each day to success and are the reason the company has seen improvement and growth. The primary employment goals that Beeping has met so far are work-life balance policies and protocols to protect the team’s well-being.
Real-life data from Beeping’s operations
Their dedication to strategies to create a top-notch logistics company leaves business partners with extra time to grow their businesses. The success of Beeping has been its growth in two important areas. The first area of growth is international expansion, with an already operational new logistics hub in Mexico. While their international footprint changed its dynamics, their global presence continues to expand.
The other major innovation was the SaaS platform “Warehouse by Beeping,” a major performance solution developed for comprehensive logistics. Beeping Fulfillment is for businesses that want total outsourcing of logistics, while this new effort is for anyone interested in managing logistics themselves, using licensed software made specifically for e-commerce companies.
Hard work has paid off for the company in its efforts to help others grow their businesses. They were finalists at the 2025 E-commerce CTT Awards in the category of innovation in Logistics, Delivery, and E-commerce Returns. At the same time, in their internal records, they consistently break records for the number of orders processed.
Beeping on the international stage
The company’s relocation from China to Spain and the decision to import products directly were turning points in its history. The warehouse has expanded to 3,000 square meters and, with that, the company continues on its charted course of growth into the future.
